Recovering

I needed a weekend of healing after a particularly difficult few days of work. I slept. I ate cookies and drank tea. I went on a date with my favorite Swiss Knight, and bought a new book (which has been really good so far). We ate some amazing vegetarian Pho.

I played with my puppy in the snow (of which we only got about a foot)


And I worked on Grenadine in my beautiful robins-egg-blue Vermont wool.


It definitely has a different attitude than the original sweater, but it has a friendly texture that I think will do just fine. 


And I just love this color.

Yay for grenadine! That color is wonderful. I'm glad you took care of yourself. I think I forget to do that after bad weeks and I end up hiding during the weekend. I think that when you say you are going to purposefully recover you take some power over the crap that happened. I hope this coming week is ten times better. I hope you don't get the Sunday night jitters that I usually get after a rough week. Enjoy Downton Abbey...I have to wait until tomorrow when I can get it online. Don't give anything away :D
