Also, I wouldn't be a proper lunatic unless I made my own. In my wanderings of the web, I've found many adorable valentines for inspiration. I was specifically looking for cards I could mail with one stamp, which meant that I couldn't fit sacks of candy, which is apparently what every cool kid does these days. I was also hoping to choose my puns carefully (I choo-choo-choose you! Um. No thank you, Ralph Wiggam)

My students would go nutso for this one, but I'm not sure I would have the energy to make that many bracelets.

Finally, the original inspiration - Paul and Julia themselves. So sweet, right?
Are you sending any love notes?

I haven't sent Valentine's cards in ages. I let my kids do it now.
All of these valentines are so cute! Thanks so much for posting them. I might have to steal the bracelet idea for my son to give to his first grade classmates - they would love it!
I haven't send Valentines since I was a kid either, but I am a firm believer in all of the following :
1. Adults would all benefit from more play
2. Everybody deserves a love note now and then
3. Doing nice things for other people makes me happy.
Therefore, I can't NOT send cards!
